I have something to tell you

Nothing matters if someone else simply told you it does. It just matters to them. You decide if it matters or not to you and it doesn't matter what you pick.
I have been conditioned/trained for the first 18 years of my public life to believe everyone else. Anyone older better faster stronger.

And then i grow up and realize everyone has been lying . especially to themselves.

You have no need to believe anyone or anything. Believe you first and who cares about the rest.
